To dig graves, to search for bodily remains.
Since the disappearance of the students of the Ayotzinapa Rural Teachers' College and the murder of six others on the night of September 26, 2014, in Iguala, Guerrero, “Los Otros desaparecidos de Iguala” (The Other Disappeared of Iguala), the Union of Peoples and Organizations of the State of Guerrero (Upoeg), Ciencia Forense Ciudadana, and relatives and residents of the municipalities of Iguala, Chilpancingo, Teloloapan and Cocula have been combing hills and fields in search of their loved ones, making public the discovery of a high number of bodies and clandestine graves.
An action performed at the opening of the exhibition. It consisted of drawing the map of Mexico on the gallery floor and then breaking the floor along its outline with the tools that relatives use to open the earth.
