MULTITUD — BOOK
Multitud is a living experience in which bodies, desire and the collective come together to explore new ways of being together. This book is something to pass through: it is trace, impulse and possibility in motion.
DESCRIPTION
Across 288 pages, MULTITUD gathers the journey of a work that since 2013 has traveled through more than twenty cities, in each one summoning dozens of anonymous bodies to become part of its scene. The book documents this process through photographs, texts and testimonies, reconstructing a piece that reinvents itself in every place where it is performed.
A prologue written especially for this edition traces the successive versions of Multitud —from Santiago, Chile, in 2015 to Montreal in 2024— and an epilogue closes the volume by dwelling on the work's final gesture: bodies arranged in a line that holds up "a plurality that sustains itself without being erased."
