A series of instructions passed on by the Cubas siblings (Luis, Mirta, Elsa, Nelys, Mireya) based on the premise: "Some practical knowledge learned in the past that might turn out to be useful". The work draws on the family's experience of clandestinity, exile and disappearance during the Uruguayan dictatorship to turn survival knowledge into a manual.
